Congratulations! Good news from seniors in Taipei! “2018 Active seniors – Grandpa and Grandma are so energetic” contest results in northern Taiwan announced

Sponsored by Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, “2018 Active seniors – Grandpa and Grandma are so energetic”, the contest in northern Taiwan was held today (3). On this occasion, 18 teams from Taipei City, New Taipei City, Keelung City, Taoyuan City, and Hsinchu County participated. There were two categories: energetic stage (7 teams) and energetic aerobics (11 teams). All the participants performed their best to win the honor.
Taipei City sent 5 teams, with 318 elders and young people, to participate in the contest, performing remarkably. Each team performed the careful designed routines with seamless cooperation. They developed their creativity fully, winning high praises from the judges. In the venue, spectators enjoyed very much, responding with enthusiastic applauses. After the first round and second round of 6 hours competition, the results of two categories were announced. Taipei won in several entries, achieving brilliantly in “2018 Active seniors – Grandpa and Grandma are so energetic.” 
In the category of “energetic stage”, the Guandu District Seniors Team won the golden medal. The “Generation Fusion to Embrace Health” – Senior Angels LOHAS Team from Neihu won the silver medal. The Ever Healthy and Longevity Team from Daan District won the bronze medal. In the category of “energetic aerobic”, Yongan Community Development Association from Xinyi District won the golden medal. The Lanxing Aerobic Team from Shilin won the bronze medal. The Guandu District Seniors Team, “Generation Fusion to Embrace Health” – Senior Angels LOHAS Team from Neihu, and Yongan Community Development Association from Xinyi District will represent Taipei City to attend the National Final sponsored by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare on October 5, 2018 (Friday), with the hope of winning the highest honor.
