The Department of Health, Taipei City Government, in its commitment to safeguarding citizens' health and fostering a smoke-free outdoor environment, hereby designates the sidewalk in front of the main entrance of the National Taiwan University Men’s Dormitory Area (No. 50, Changxing Street, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan) as a non-smoking area, effective March 1, 2026, in accordance with Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of Article 19 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.

Violators will be subject to a fine ranging from NTD 2,000 to NTD 10,000, as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of Article 40 of the aforementioned Act.
