The Department of Health, Taipei City Government, in its commitment to safeguarding citizens' health and fostering a smoke-free outdoor environment, hereby designates the sidewalk in front of the main entrance of the China Medical University Hospital Taipei Branch as a non-smoking area, effective July 15, 2026, in accordance with Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of Article 19 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.
 
 Violators will be subject to a fine ranging from NTD 2,000 to NTD 10,000, as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of Article 40 of the aforementioned Act.
