In order to assist newlywed, pregnant and postnatal new immigrants and their family to gain sufficient information for maternal and child health care, Department of Health, Taipei City Government will hold “Maternal and Child Health Seminar for New Immigrants 2015” on every Thursday from June 18 to July 9, 2015 at Taipei City Hospital, Heping Fuyou Branch. The lectures will be in Chinese and interpreted into English, Vietnamese, Japanese and other languages upon request, and it includes information of preconception care, introduction of prenatal visit, preparation for giving birth, weight management during pregnancy and breast feeding. The lecture is free and we encourage new immigrants and their families to participate.
