The Care and Support Center of Taipei reminds individuals subject to a 14-day period of home quarantine/isolatation to follow the regulations and protect everyone’s health

    As of April 6, a cumulative total of 373 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Taiwan, with 107 cases in Taipei. There were a cumulative total of 20,276 home quarantine cases and 1,763 home isolation cases in Taipei. To increase the public trust, Taipei City Government established the Care and Support Center for quarantined/isolated individuals to provide essential services in all aspects, such as daily phone calls, meal delivery services, medical care arrangements, disease prevention taxis, health education programs and garbage clean-ups. Taipei City Government also provides mental health hotline (02-33937885) for individuals feeling anxious during the home quarantine/isolation period. Citizens can also call 1999 for more information and prevention measures on COVID-19.
    During the home quarantine/isolation period, if suspected symptoms, such as cough, fever, sore throat and abdominal or abnormal sense of smell/taste, develop, individuals shall contact the epidemic hotline (02-23753782) of the Department of Health, Taipei City Government, and specialists will assist in arranging medical care. If individuals are in need of non-urgent medical assistances, they shall also contact the specialists. Individuals can also consult with doctors via video calls. As of April 6, 919 people were arranged for medical care, and 12 people consulted with the doctor via video call.
    If you are required to undergo a 14-day period of home quarantine/isolation, please stay at your designated location and maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Those in violation of home quarantine will be fined for NT$200,000 to NT$1,000,000; violation of home isolation will be fined for NT$100,000 to NT$1,000,000.
