The Taipei City Government, in its commitment to safeguarding citizens' health and fostering a smoke-free outdoor environment, hereby announces the implementation of a smoking ban in the following locations, effective February 1, 2025, in accordance with paragraph 1, subparagraph 4 of Article 19 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act:

• Beautified Open Space at Lane 14, Alley 64, Nanjing West Road, Datong District, Taipei City
• Sidewalks Surrounding the Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of National Chengchi University

Violators of this smoking ban will be subject to a fine ranging from NTD 2,000 to NTD 10,000, as stipulated in paragraph 2 of Article 40 of the aforementioned Act.
