Taipei City announces the following areas as designated no-smoking areas starting from April 1 of 2021: “Liugongjun Green Belt” and “Outdoor Areas and Peripheral Pedestrian Paths of the Second Male Dormitory and Third Female Dormitory of the National Taiwan University”

To protect citizens from the hazards of second-hand smoke and create outdoor smoke-free environments, the Department of Health has announced the designated the following areas as non-smoking areas starting from April 1, 2021, in accordance with Item 4 of Paragraph 1 of Article 16 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act: “Liugongjun Green Belt” (Location: Between Ln. 135, Sec. 1, Fuxing S. Rd and Ln. 49, Sec. 4, Zhongxiao E. Rd. of Da’an Dist., Taipei City) and “Outdoor Areas and Peripheral Pedestrian Paths of the Second Male Dormitory and Third Female Dormitory of National Taiwan University” (Location: No. 2-2 and 2-3, Xuzhou Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City). Citizens who violate the non-smoking rules will be fined an amount no less than NTD 2,000 but no more than NTD 10,000.
