Taipei City Government Has Listed the National Taipei University Bo-Ai Campus, the Affiliated High School of National ChengChi University, the surrounding sidewalks of the staff dormitory of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as Smoke-Free Starting from August 1, 2020

In order to protect the right to health of the general public from second-hand smoke and create an outdoor smoke-free environment, the Department of Health of Taipei City Government has listed the National Taipei University Bo-Ai Campus (No. 1, Aiguo W. Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 100, Taiwan), the Affiliated High School of National ChengChi University(No. 353, Zhengda 1st St., Wenshan Dist., Taipei City 116, Taiwan), the surrounding sidewalks of the staff dormitory of  National Taiwan University of Science and Technology(No. 4-10, Aly. 68, Ln. 41, Sec. 4, Keelung Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City 106, Taiwan) as smoke-free venues in accordance with Subparagraph 4, Paragraph 1, Article 16 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act starting from August 1, 2020. Smokers who violate the rules will be fined for NT$2,000 to NT$10,000 in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 31 of the Act. For detailed information, please visit our Chinese official website.
